Dan currently leads the revenue organization for Newline by Fifth Third, the dedicated embedded banking and payments group of Fifth Third Bank. Dan joined Fifth Third in May 2023, joining following the acquisition by Fifth Third of Rize Money Inc, where Dan served as Chief Commercial Officer then Chief Operating Officer since 2021. Prior to Rize, Dan was a Partner at Route 66 Ventures, focusing exclusively on global early stage investments in fintech for 7 years. Dan also invests and advises early-stage companies through his association with Apriori Ventures and Plural.VC.
Dan is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and Georgetown University, where he received an MBA. Dan lives in Washington, DC with his wife, 3 daughters and dog.
